Used to live there when I was a teenager (89 to early 90s). It was nice; ours was one of the few houses there. Looks sad and neglected now :(

The school was officially closed in 2010. By 2005 only a small portion of the school is in operation at the back of their main building fronting the Zapote Alabang road. the reason for the closure of the school is still unknown to most graduates. Luckily i was able to secure my records before it closed.

Bacoor's backdoor to Las Piñas...
The River Station was the former Molino Dam near San Nicolas, Bacoor, Cavite. It was built in the 18th century to irrigate the surrounding rice fields in Las Piñas & Bacoor. This dam effectively raised the level of water in the upper Zapote River three stories high; the same level as the fields and separated the fresh water coming from Almanza and the Molino River from the salt water of the lower Zapote River. It enabled the irrigation and rice farming of vast tracts of otherwise dry land in both towns. This dam and its attached water distribution system was an outstanding feat of hydrological engineering.
Due to the protracted drought period, St. Ezekiel Moreno, then-parish priest of Las Piñas, urged the repair of the dam by raising its wall to provide more water capacity. The Provincial Definitorium approved the budget proposal of P3,296.00 on April 24, 1885.
This dam is no longer being used due to conversion of most of the surrounding lands into residential areas. It is now used as an alternative mode of transportation of people going to and fro both cities. This dam must be preserved as an important monument in the historical and cultural heritage of the Cities of Las Piñas and Bacoor.
